By using betondarts.co.uk you accept the following. It is written to be read rather than to be survived, and if any of it is unclear we would rather you emailed and asked.
1. Nothing here is a bet
This site offers no gambling of any kind. It does not take stakes, hold funds, settle markets, or pass you to anyone who does. It is not licensed by the Gambling Commission because it does not carry out any licensable activity. No account is offered and none can be opened.
2. Every figure on the front page is simulated
The players are invented. The matches are invented. The prices are computed from those invented players by the simulation running in your browser, and they describe nothing that is happening anywhere in the world. They are not odds you could take, not odds any bookmaker has offered, and not a forecast of a real event or a real person's form.
The only factual data on the site is the list of PDC World Championship winners and the statements about the rules and geometry of the game, all of which are marked as such.
3. The tools are arithmetic, not advice
The checkout finder, odds converter, overround calculator, returns calculator, average calculator and price-against-probability tool do exactly the sums they say they do. They contain no opinion about what will happen and no suggestion that anything improves your chances of winning money. Nothing on this site is betting advice, a tip, a prediction, an inducement to gamble, or financial advice of any sort.
The price-against-probability tool works from a number you supply. It has no view on whether your number is any good.
4. We try to be right and we are not warranting it
The maths is tested, and the checkout search enumerates rather than looks up, which is the best defence against a wrong answer that we know of. Even so, the site is provided as it is, without warranty, and we are not liable for a decision you make off the back of it. Check anything that matters.
5. Content
The text, code, design and simulation on this site belong to its operator. You are welcome to quote a passage with a link. Wholesale copying of the page or the engine is not permitted. “PDC” and the names of tournaments and players in the champions list belong to their respective owners and are used descriptively; this site is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to the PDC, the WDF, any tournament, any player or any bookmaker.
6. Availability
The site may be changed, taken down or rewritten at any time without notice. The match engine needs JavaScript; the guides, the champions list and the darts facts do not.
7. Age
The email list is for people aged 18 or over, and the form requires you to say so. Nothing else on the site is age restricted, because nothing else on it is gambling.
8. Law
These terms are governed by the law of Scotland, and the Scottish courts have jurisdiction. Nothing here removes a right you have as a consumer that cannot be removed by agreement.
